Students at the Indiana University School of Medicine are required to take a basic Human Structure class that includes indoctrination in the woke gender ideology agenda, Fox News revealed Sunday.
The first-year students in the Human Structure class have a “sex and gender primer” lesson that states “both sex and gender fall along a continuum, rather than being binary constructs,” and claims “a nuanced understanding of sex and gender and the use of inclusive terminology may positively affect healthcare of all individuals,” according to the documents obtained by Fox News.
Using a depiction of “The Genderbread Person,” the medical school states in its curriculum materials sex is “mostly a biological construct,” and gender is “mostly a social construct,” but adds, “recent evidence suggests there may be a biological basis of gender.”
“Gender AND sex are NON-binary,” the class documents state, noting references to “male” and “female” sex and “man” and “woman” gender types is an “oversimplification” and “both exist on a continuum.”
“Language is foundational to transgender and non-binary inclusiveness,” the materials state, and add, “Inclusive language affirms and validates trans and non-binary identities.”
Indiana University School of Medicine’s website states it is “preparing healers” and “transforming health.”
A course titled “Introduction to Human Sexuality,” is directed by Charles Rudick, Ph.D., Justin Garcia, Ph.D., and Jessica Hille, J.D., Ph.D. Garcia and Hille are both with The Kinsey Institute.
The course description reads:
This course will provide students with an introductory survey of topics in human sexuality, including se, gender, sexual orientation, and how these factors intersect and interact. Topics covered will include: sexual and gender diversity; peri- and post-natal sex and gender development; gender identity; sexual orientation and fluidity; intersex conditions; sexual health and STI prevention; sexual pleasure; and others. Students will also have the opportunity to tour various labs and do a week of “rounds” with researcher faculty working on topics related to sex and sexuality at The Kinsey Institute.
Author and Manhattan Institute fellow Heather MacDonald appeared on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight in August and spoke about the dangers of forced diversity, equity, and inclusivity (DEI) training – including critical race and gender theories – in U.S. medical schools:
It’s putting patients’ lives at risk. When you show up at the ER in an ambulance, Tucker, after a near fatal heart attack, do you want your doctors to be able to reel off the various forms of white privilege? Or, do you want them to be able to get your heart going again? Well, according to the AMA or the American Association of Medical Colleges, it’s equally important for your doctor to know all about white privilege. There are mandated courses in anti-racism in white supremacy in medical schools. We are eviscerating every meritocratic standard in the practice of medicine because it has a disparate impact on blacks and Hispanics, where we admit black and Hispanic medical students with grades that would be at the end and scores that would be automatically disqualifying if presented by white and Asian students.

“And the result of this is going to be declining quality of care, a slowdown in scientific process progress and possible jeopardy to patients’ lives,” MacDonald asserted.
As The Tennessee Star reported over the last week two weeks, an organization of physicians, healthcare professionals, medical students, patients, and policymakers is exposing the pervasive infiltration of woke DEI ideologies in medical school curricula and programs.
After Do No Harm’s most recent report on “The DEI Bureaucracy in Tennessee Medical Schools” was published, an internal email obtained by a tipster saw William Block, M.D., the dean of medicine of East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine, double down on DEI ideology values as ones “that matter” and “make us better doctors.”
Do No Harm’s latest report examines information about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives that influence the policies, curriculum, and activities at medical schools in Tennessee.

Laura Morgan, MSN, RN, who authored the report for Do No Harm, told The Tennessee Star her organization also received Block’s internal email from an anonymous individual. A blog post on Do No Harm’s website summarizes the group’s response that Block’s position “proves our point.”
“It’s not surprising that the dean would respond by reinforcing the DEI agenda at Quillen College of Medicine,” Morgan said. “In doing so, he has proven the point that Do No Harm is making: These institutions are heavily invested in their woke ideologies, and Quillen is among the Tennessee medical schools that are replacing medical education with political indoctrination.”
“The insistence in focusing on social justice and equity instead of instructing students on how to be competent doctors undermines their mission and is a disservice to the patients these future physicians will be treating,” she added.

Mr Blackwell well articulates the position. What should not be lost in this article is a simple word that Bernie Sanders could not answer in interview. Of course, Bernie being Bernie responded with anger and shouting once trapped. The interviewers question was quite simple, he asked Bernie the difference between equity and equality. Bernie didn’t know. So here it is quite simple, equity guarantees outcome, equality guarantees participation. Equity, frankly, is racist. The position is filled or the contract rewarded solely by race, gender, religion or orientation. In other words, if you are not a member of that targeted group, irrespective of your qualifications, you will not be treated equally. When i hear DEI, the new flavor of the month, I hear racism. When I hear BLM, I hear racism as ALM. It is long overdue for the left to stop the profiling and the divisiveness. Stop the racism!

Taking someone to surgery for a foreign object shoved where it doesn’t belong is not healthcare, it’s sick care. The patient is sick. #rootcause
